Shou Mei, China - White tea

From Fujian province, produced from naturally withered upper leaf and tips, with a stronger flavor reminiscent of lighter Oolong teas, Shou Mei yields a delicate infusion with mellow flavor. With deep yellow brew color, fresh, clean aroma and bold aroma, bearing some resemblance to autumn leaves and slightly sweet flavor that sharpens the senses without overwhelming the tongue, this tea will be a perfect low caffeine compagion for afternoons. It has less theine than black or green tea, making it an excellent choice for those wishing to reduce caffeine. 

Brew at 175º water temperature, keep the steep time strict at 2 min to avoid a bitter and very strong brew.

Sencha Arihara, Japan - Green tea

Sencha Supreme (Arihara) is the highest quality of sencha green tea. It steeps a liquor with a rich aroma, delicate flavor, bright green color. The tea  offers a buttery aroma and mouth-feel that lends roundness not often found in a sencha.

Although this tea is tolerant of longer brew times, please brew it with care. As with all senchas, to prevent bitterness, make sure your water is not too hot (176-194⁰F) and don't over-steep. Use 1 teaspoon per cup and brew 1.5 minutes in steaming water.

Dian Hong (Golden Yunnan), China - Black tea

This archetypical Yunnan black tea with fresh, floral aroma, typical black tea malty base and low astringency. 

Gold tipped khaki-colored tea leaves brew bright red in color Full-bodied and rich with a hint of natural, sweet, lively flavor. This tea is ideal to infuse, create your own blends and great for making kombucha! Excellent with milk.

Brew at 194 ºF for 2 to 3 minutes (exact time depends on your taste – a longer time will give the tea a stronger taste and color). You can use the leaves for up to six infusions. Add a little more time for each subsequent infusion.

 

Lapsang Souchong, China - Black tea

Black tea from the Fujian province of China. Lapsang Souchong tea has a famously smoky aroma and flavor. The leaves of this tea are traditionally smoke-dried over pinewood fires, taking on a distinctive clean, smoky flavor. Golden-coppery color in the cup. Lapsang souchong's aroma is moderately strong and smoky, similar to the smell of a barbecue or campfire. The flavor of the pine smoke complements the natural taste of the black tea, not overwhelming it results in a sweet, refreshing smoky, crisp and edgy flavor.

Steep 2 teaspoons for 8oz cup at 212° for 3-5 minutes.

Ginger and Peach Black tea

This American classic Ginger-Peach black Ceylon (with ginger root and peach pieces) offers sweet lushness of peaches seasoned with the tingle of spicy ginger paired with tangy, naturally citrusy Ceylon black tea.

Enjoyable anytime hot or cold. Great with maple syrup as sweetener. Iced it can easily become one of summertime staples.

Steep 1 teaspoon of tea per 6-8 oz cup in near boiling water (205 F) for 3-4 minutes to obtain best flavor.

Honey Bush, Africa - Rooibos

Honeybush is a sibling of Rooibos, cultivated in South Africa's Eastern Cape region. Its flowers smell of honey, earning this plant a sweet name. The taste is similar to that of rooibos, though arguably a little sweeter. Smooth, gentle roasty flavor and slightly fuller bodied than rooibos, with notes of nuts, oak and wild honey. Clean, refreshing finish and naturally caffeine free. Honeybush is rich in antioxidants, caffeine free and low in tannins. Perfect bedtime beverage choice.

 

Yerba Mate & Spearmint, Argentina

This tea is our signature house blend. Energizing the with no caffeine is a great morning drink hot or iced with a touch of honey.

The flavor of brewed mate is strongly herbal, grassy, reminiscent of some varieties of green tea. Some consider the flavor to be very agreeable, but it is generally bitter if steeped in boiling water. Blended with another herb spearmint added minty flavor to earthy note from the yerba mate. 

We also recommend to further mix this blend with Lemon, Mint Chamomile tea for an even more refreshing taste. 

Lemon, Mint, Chamomile - Herbal tea blend

This soothing herbal blend of sweet chamomile balanced with the flavours of fresh mint and ripe lemon has a smooth, fresh taste and warm, inviting aroma. Chamomile flowers with mint and lemon rind will make a great filling for your water bottle.

Steep 1 teaspoon of Blend per 6-8 oz cup in near boiling water for 5-7 minutes to obtain best flavor.

 

Linden Blossoms, North America - Herbal tea

Linden Tea has been a popular folk remedy for a number of years due in part to its great taste and its reputation for being a great help against colds, headaches and to calm the nervous system. Linden is also said to relieve insomnia, help digestion and makes the perfect good night tea.

To prepare Linden tea use 1 to 2 tsp. of flowers in 8 oz. of water. Steep covered for 20 minutes. Add honey and drink it while it is hot or let it cool and drink iced with lime.
