What did you do before yoga?
What could you talk about for hours on end?
Alissa enjoys teaching all types of yoga. From a sweaty Vinyasa flow, to Kundalini, to a healing restorative practice, Alissa believes there's a style of yoga to suit everyone's needs. Alissa uses laughter, compassion and warmth in all of her classes, and encourages her students to see yoga as a long term journey. She hopes to inspire her students to let go of their attachments and ego, and simply be grateful that they were able to show up. Alissa likes to say there are a lot of "maybe's" in yoga, and assists her students to focus on the present and not to worry about what you could or couldn't do yesterday, or what you might be able to do tomorrow. Alissa uses gentle hands on adjustments to guide students into proper alignment, but also allows students the space to explore the postures on their own.

Mixed Level Flow
Linking breath, body and movement, the class will leave you feeling open, strong, and refreshed. Modifications are given allowing the students to choose a more beginning or more advanced practice.
Wind down your day by the candlelight. This class combines a moderate vinyasa flow with the quiet, cooling, relaxing restorative poses.
This mid-day flow class uses the breath to move through sun salutations and a sequence of fundamental yoga poses. With a focus on alignment, be prepared to explore both beginning and intermediate poses including twists, backbends and options for inversions and arm balances. You'll leave feeling refreshed and ready for the rest of your day.
